SyllabusQuantitative Reasoning Syllabus
The quantitative reasoning syllabus of our GMAT coaching classes is focused on understanding the problems and solving them with logic. This syllabus has Arithmetic progression, percentages, ratios, averages, Algebra, expressions, linear equations and inequalities. Apart from this you will also get questions on word problems to test your ability to formulate a quantitative expression. You need to have good calculation skills as you are not allowed to use calculators while solving them. In addition to this you may also come across data sufficiency questions to test your ability to decide if the data provided is enough or not to draw a conclusion.
Verbal Reasoning Syllabus
The verbal reasoning syllabus is meant to test the reading comprehension skills and critical reasoning skills of the candidates. The types of questions include readings from articles in the business, science, and social studies followed by comprehension and critical reasoning questions. The critical reasoning questions require the candidates to make assumptions, strengthen or weaken arguments, and identify logical flaws. There is no explicit testing of grammar skills as it was the case with the previous GMAT versions. The syllabus focuses on testing the knowledge of logic and comprehension of the candidates and we provide online GMAT classes to help you get ready for the exam.
Data Insights Syllabus
Unlike the data analysis section of the GMAT Focus Edition that demands a certain level of mathematical and logic skills, the Data Insights syllabus is a mix of data interpretation and reasoning abilities. You should be able to answer multi‑source reasoning, table analysis, graphics interpretation, and two‑part analysis questions.
