GMAT
The Graduate Management Admission Test (or GMAT) is a standardised test, which all the esteemed business schools use to short-list candidates for their respective MBA and executive management courses. Unlike other competitive exams, the GMAT tests one's understanding and knowledge of quantitative aptitude, verbal aptitude and data sufficiency.
Our expert‑led GMAT coaching classes and online gmat classes at Ooshas Prep will enable you to learn these skills through instruction, tests and more. The new GMAT Focus Edition has become more focused on real-world problem solving skills that the business schools are looking for. Hence it is more important than ever to get professional coaching to make sure you are prepared to get the high score you need.
GMAT
SyllabusThe Quantitative Reasoning Syllabus of our GMAT coaching classes covers understanding of the problems and solving it with the application of logic. The syllabus incorporates arithmetic progression, percentages, ratios, averages, algebra, expressions, linear equations and inequalities. You also get question based on word problems to evaluate your efficiency in converting these into quantitative expressions. You need to have good calculation skills that you are not allowed to use calculators while solving these problems. Moreover, you encounter data sufficiency questions to examine your ability to decide if the available data is enough to conclude or not.
The verbal reasoning syllabus is intended to test the reading comprehension and critical reasoning skills of the candidates. The question types include readings from articles in business, science, and social studies followed by comprehension and critical reasoning questions. The critical reasoning questions require the candidates to make assumptions, strengthen or weaken arguments, and identify logical flaws. There is no explicit testing of grammar skills as it was the case with the previous GMAT versions. The syllabus focuses on testing the knowledge of logic and comprehension of the candidates and we provide online GMAT classes to help you get ready for the exam.
Unlike the data analysis section of the GMAT Focus Edition for which it is necessary for the examinee to have some amount of mathematical and logic knowledge, the Data Insights syllabus is a combination of data interpretation and reasoning skills. You will have to answer multi-source reasoning, table analysis, graphics interpretation, and two-part analysis questions. In addition, you will learn to solve complex problems using your analytical skills in a business-world decision-making context. The knowledge gained will be vital to any business school and is highly sought after by employers.
Ooshas Prep is built around one goal: helping you improve your GMAT score with a method you can actually follow.
Chennai boasts of a great pool of students and working professionals who aspire to join the top B-schools, and our GMAT online coaching in Chennai is designed keeping both of them in mind.
