SyllabusQuantitative Reasoning Syllabus
The Quantitative Reasoning Syllabus of our GMAT coaching classes focuses on understanding the problem and solving it by applying logic. The syllabus involves arithmetic progression, percentages, ratios, averages, algebra, expressions, linear equations, and inequalities. You also get questions based on word problems to evaluate your efficiency in converting them into quantitative expressions. You need to have good calculation skills as you are not allowed to use calculators while solving these problems. Moreover, you encounter data sufficiency questions to examine your ability to decide if the available data is enough to conclude or not.
Verbal Reasoning Syllabus
The verbal reasoning syllabus tests the reading comprehension and critical reasoning skills of the candidates. The question types comprise of readings from articles in business, science, and social studies followed by comprehension and critical reasoning questions. The critical reasoning questions require the candidate to identify assumptions, strengthen or weaken arguments, and recognize logical flaws. There is no explicit testing of grammatical skills as was the case with the previous GMAT version. The syllabus aims at testing the candidate’s knowledge of logic, comprehension, and reasoning and we offer online GMAT classes in order to assist you in preparing to pass the test successfully.
Data Insights Syllabus
Unlike the data analysis section of the GMAT Focus Edition, which requires a basic level of mathematical and logical knowledge, the Data Insights syllabus is a combination of data interpretation and reasoning skills. You will need to answer multi‑source reasoning, table analysis, graphics interpretation, and two‑part analysis questions. Additionally, you will be exposed to business‑world decision‑making contexts and learn to resolve complex problems with your analytical skills. The knowledge gained is essential for any business school and is highly sought after by employers.
