PTE
Behind the milestone
A goal. A plan. A story of progress.
I chose PTE over other English tests mainly for its fast, AI-based scoring, but the actual prep took real work. Structured speaking and writing drills built up my fluency and accuracy steadily. A final score of 77 cleared the requirement for my university application with room to spare.
The outcome
- AI Scoring Readiness: Structure responses the way PTE's automated scoring rewards.
- Speaking Fluency: Deliver natural, well-paced responses across Read Aloud and Repeat Sentence.
- Summarization Skills: Write concise, accurate summaries within strict word limits.
The AI scoring felt intimidating at first, but once I understood how it evaluates responses, my scores climbed fast. Landed a 77.
