Behind the milestone
A goal. A plan. A story of progress.
The Stanford Graduate School of Business was my absolute dream, but as an international applicant, I needed to prove my language fluency flawlessly. I chose the PTE over other formats because of its fast, objective AI scoring. Scoring an overall 84—well above Stanford GSB's minimum threshold of 68—gave me the ultimate confidence boost to submit my application early
The outcome
- Prerequisite Clearance: Easily exceed the Stanford GSB minimum benchmark of 68 to eliminate any roadblocks regarding your English proficiency criteria.
- Essay Blueprint Readiness: Building high-level structural skills for the PTE directly strengthens your writing abilities for Stanford's demanding Statement of Purpose and short answers.
- No Scoring Bias: Using the fully automated AI engine completely removes human reviewer bias, ensuring objective, rapid score turnaround within 48 hours.
Choosing PTE for its fast AI scoring was the right call, and the structured drills got me to an 84 well above what Stanford GSB required.
